Fees
Each portrait is unique, and will be priced individually depending on the subject--fee schedule is subject to change at any time.
Cost for a finished portrait will start at $500, and will vary with pose, background detail, and size.
Each additional person in the same portrait will add 50% or more to the cost.
Fee is based on the pose (eg. head & shoulders vs. full figure), complexity of background, and special objects or subjects (like a family pet).
All finished portraits will be matted with an archival white or off-white mat. Special matting and/or framing can be provided for an additional charge.
Any travel expenses will be billed at cost.

Payment
A down payment of one third will be due when the commission contract is signed, and is not refundable.
An additional third will be due when the detailed sketch is agreed upon.
Final payment will be due upon acceptance of the final portrait.

Ownership
All sketches, photos, and other materials used to create the portrait remain the property of the Artist.
Ownership of the portrait will pass to the client upon final payment. All copyrights remain with the artist.
